Aluminum will not rust, which is the practical reason it beats steel on sprinkler-heavy lawns and pool decks. Avimore takes that base and upgrades it: thicker picket and rail extrusions, tighter fastening, and a factory powder-coat finish that holds color under Utah's high-altitude UV.
It is the right call when you want the look of ornamental iron with essentially no upkeep. Panels rack to follow grade, gates hang light and swing easily for years, and the finish does not need touch-up paint the way welded iron eventually does.
We recently installed an Avimore aluminum run in Bountiful, and it is a good example of the tradeoff: same visual weight as iron from the street, none of the rust maintenance later.
What Makes Avimore Different From Standard Aluminum
The difference is in the extrusion and the assembly. Avimore uses thicker picket and rail walls than typical residential aluminum, which makes panels feel solid instead of springy and keeps gates from racking out of square over time.
The privacy configurations are what most people come for: full aluminum privacy panels, or an aluminum frame with composite wood infill in natural or black. You get the warmth of a wood-look fence with a frame that will never rot, rust, or need staining.
Upkeep and Longevity
There is effectively no maintenance. Aluminum does not rust, the powder-coated finish does not need repainting, and composite infill does not need sealing. A rinse with a hose once or twice a season is the whole routine.
Because the material does not corrode, sprinkler overspray and snow piled against the fence are non-issues — the two things that most shorten the life of wood and welded iron fences here.
