Common Fencing Questions
More Questions Before You Book
How far in advance should I schedule a fence install?
Spring and early summer book out fastest along the Wasatch Front. Getting your estimate two to four weeks ahead of when you want the fence up usually keeps you on schedule; fall and winter installs are often quicker to slot in.
Do you handle the Blue Stakes utility locate?
Yes. We call in the locate before any digging starts and work around marked gas, power, irrigation, and communication lines. If you have private lines such as sprinklers or landscape lighting, point them out at the estimate.
Can you remove and haul away my old fence?
We do. Tear-out, post and footing removal, and haul-away can be bundled with a new install or handled as a stand-alone job on our fence removal service.
What happens on a sloped or rocky lot?
Sloped runs are either stepped or racked depending on the material, and rocky or caliche soil takes longer to dig. Both affect the estimate, which is why we measure on site instead of quoting by phone.
Do you work with HOAs and property managers?
Regularly. We match approved colors and styles, provide the documentation an HOA architectural committee asks for, and bid commercial and multi-family perimeter work with phased scheduling.
Fencing We Install
Residential and commercial fence installation, plus old fence tear-out and haul-away — installed by crews we know and trust.
Vinyl Fencing
Vinyl is the most requested fence material around here because it handles freeze-thaw cycles without warping, rotting, or needing paint. We set posts in concrete below the frost line and use reinforced rails so panels stay straight for decades.
Wood Fencing
Wood gives Utah homes warmth and flexibility — custom heights, stepped runs for sloped lots, and stain colors you control. We build on steel or treated posts so the structure outlasts the pickets.
Chain Link Fencing
Chain link is the practical pick when you need secure containment without blocking light or views. We install galvanized and black vinyl-coated systems for homeowners, rentals, dog runs, and commercial yards.
Ornamental Iron & Aluminum
Ornamental iron and aluminum give you security and definition without giving up the view. Powder-coated finishes stand up to Utah sun and snow, and pool-code configurations meet Utah barrier requirements.
Avimore Aluminum Fencing
Avimore is a premium aluminum fence line we install locally — heavier extrusions, a cleaner powder-coated finish, and style options that read closer to custom iron than to big-box aluminum.
Gates & Access
A gate is the part of a fence that gets used every day, so it is the part most worth building right. We square, brace, and hang gates so they swing true years later.
Commercial Fencing
We work with general contractors, property managers, HOAs, and business owners on fencing that has to pass inspection, hold up to daily use, and land on schedule.
Fence Demo & Tear-Out
Before a new fence goes up, the old one has to come out cleanly. We handle full demolition, post and footing removal, and haul-away — as part of a new install or as a standalone job.
